Since January 2021, the Moulin de la Rémy has been operated by the Moulin de Charlevoix
company.
Moulin de Charlevoix is a Franco-Quebec joint venture (Les Moulins Associés and Pierre du Moulin are the shareholders) whose mission
is to transform locally produced organic grain on stone mills into high-end flour.
To guarantee the quality of our top-of-the-range flours and to ensure the sustainability of milling on ancestral stone millstones in
Quebec, we have always worked in close collaboration with Les Moulins Associés, French experts recognized as the world leader in the milling of flour on stone. The new joint venture with increased
structure and funding is just the logical continuation of this association
Moulin de Charlevoix operates the La Rémy mill in Baie-St-Paul for rent, owned by Heritage Charlevoix.
Bruno Texier is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Rudy Laixhay is its Chief Executive Officer
Since January 1, 2021, the activities of the farm are separated into a new agricultural company
All cultivated land is distributed to this new entity "Fields of the Future" or to others existing or in creation. All landowners
are delighted to see that their land continues to be valued. All the crops remain in organic production in collaboration with the local ccop Avantis to subsequently supply the Moulin de la Rémy with
organic cereals. This reorganization gives as many Charlevoix producers as possible access to the local organic cereal market for the needs of the Moulin de Charlevoix.
